How To Dye Lace
The method of dyeing and weaving lace
When dyeing lace, the first thing to choose is the material. Lace has different textures, cotton and linen silk polyester, with different characteristics, which has a great impact on the dyeing effect. It is advisable to choose those with high quality and light color, which are easy to color and have good color fastness.

Secondary dyes. There are many types of dyes, natural synthesis, each with advantages and disadvantages. Natural ones, such as plant and mineral dyes, are environmentally friendly and elegant, but they are colored or uneven, and the color fastness is slightly inferior; synthetic dyes are bright, uniform and high in color. Choose carefully according to the desired color and consumption.

Furthermore, the dyeing liquid. According to the dye instructions, weigh accurately, and dissolve it with an appropriate amount of warm water. The water temperature must be appropriate. If it is too hot, the dye will decompose. If it is too cold, it will be insoluble and affect the coloring. Stir well to make the dye fully melt into the water and form a clear dye.

Gently immerse the lace in the dye solution to ensure complete immersion. Gently stir from time to time during this period to make the coloring uniform. The length of dyeing depends on the desired color depth. If it is light, it will be short, and if it is deep, it will be long. Pay close attention to prevent excessive dyeing.

After dyeing is completed, take out the lace and drain the dye solution. Buffer with water to remove its floating color. When punching, the force should be gentle to avoid damaging the texture of the lace.

After that, color fixing is also critical. According to the characteristics of the dy Prepare the fixing liquid in proportion, immerse the lace, take it out after a certain period of time, and rinse with water.

Finally, dry the lace. Do not expose to the sun, it should be dried in a ventilated place in the shade to prevent fading and deformation. When it is completely dry, gently smooth it, and the lace is then dyed, with a bright color and suitable for all kinds of uses.
