Method for making indicator liquid
To make indicator liquid, prepare what you need first. Take all kinds of flowers, plants or fruits, choose the best color. Such as roses, purple cabbage and the like.
Wash the selected thing and drain it. Then put it in a bowl and grind it carefully with a pestle and mortar until the juice is produced. If the juice is insufficient, you can add less water to help it form a pulp.
After grinding, filter it with gauze, remove the dross, and leave the clear liquid. This clear liquid is the initial indicator liquid.
However, this liquid may be unstable and needs to be treated. You can place it in a pot, cook it slowly over low heat, evaporate excess water, and make the concentration of the liquid suitable. Be careful when cooking, do not let it burn.
Wait for the liquid to cool, put it in a clean bottle, and keep it sealed. When using, take a little drop in the liquid to be tested, observe its color change, and know the acid and alkali of the solution. In this way, it indicates that the liquid is complete.
