Marigold Plant Growing
Calendula Planting Notes
I live in the countryside, and I love to make flowers and grass, especially for calendula. Its flower color is bright and bright, or golden like the sun, or orange red like the summer, and it is pleasing to look at.
At the beginning of the year, I got calendula seeds in the market, full of grains, brown and slightly moist. When I return home, choose a place with fertile soil, dig loose its soil, sprinkle seeds in it, cover it with thin soil, water it lightly with rain, and hope that it will sprout early.
Not long after, the young shoots break the soil, and the new green leaves are scattered like stars. Every morning, I will go to watch it, and I will be very relieved to see it growing. When the spring rain is continuous, I am afraid that water will accumulate and hurt the seedlings, so I often drain the ditch; and I am worried about the scorching sun, so I cover it with a reed mat.
And the seedlings are slightly stronger, divided and planted, with proper spacing, so that each has its own place. In the meantime, remove weeds and prevent pests, and dare not slack off a little. Calendula is tough, and although it has weathered wind and rain, it is still vigorous and upward.
When the flowering period comes, the flowers are blooming like brocade, and the aroma is quiet. Pick its flowers, or put them in a bottle for viewing; or store them in the sun, and they can be used as medicine, which has the effect of clearing heat.
The planting of marigolds, although hard-working, but watching its growth, from seeds to seedlings, from seedlings to flowers, feeling the wonder of life, but also the gift of nature, which is not enough for the outside world.
